Teachers’ day was celebrated on 5th
September 2023. Teachers told students about Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and his
teachings and achievements. In the celebration, portrait of Dr Radhakrishnan
was garlanded and lamp was lit in his honor followed by cultural events. The
event concluded with serving of refreshments.
All students and teachers rallied
in queues for awareness on Independence Day. There after principal unfurled the
flag in presence of all the students and teachers followed by National Anthem.
Then the principal addressed the students and students presented patriotic
songs and recited poems as well. Ex student Pradeep recited poem about the
Queen of Jhansi. At last, the program concluded with distribution of sweets.
District taekwondo sports association held a belt color promotion test on 23rd of June 2023. All girls appeared in the test with great optimism and came out with flying colors. Few girls were promoted to green belt from yellow and rest got promoted to yellow from white. Details of the same are as follows.

On 4th June 2023, our students participated
in district inter championship conducted by Kanpur Bar Association. Students
from Gorakhpur, Raebareilly, Lucknow, Pratapgarh, Barabanki, Shravasti,
Varanasi, Kanpur, Sultanpur etc. participated in this competition. Our students
participated with high morale and self confidence and also won many medals
which included 04 Golds, 02 Silvers and 01 Bronze.

On 27th May 2023, Dr. Shreya Singh (Director of Rhythm Academy) visited the school and distributed marksheets, certificates and prizes which students of kathak secured from a competition conducted at Praveshika Bhat Khande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow. She also distributed certificates to the yellow belts in taekwondo.
On 10th may 2023, a
team of 6 officers (3 forest officers and 3 security officers) from Kanpur Zoo
visited the school. Mr. Ranjit and Sadab Aalam from the team educated students
on how one can keep the environment safe by keeping check on little things in
daily life. For example, usage of water judiciously, turning off vehicles on
signals, reducing use of fossil fuel vehicles, minimum use of AC and plantation
of tress and its aftercare.
Students
from class 7th and 8th put forward their names for the President and Vice President
position. These students were allotted with their election symbols and they
participated in the election campaign by going to each class. On 29th April,
all students present from class 5th to 8th (approx. 95 students) voted using Google
forms for E-Voting. Shubhi and Lucky from class 8th were elected as President
and Vice President respectively. The aim for conducting elections in school was
to familiarize the students with the election procedures.
Report card and prize distribution programme was organized on 31st March 2023. The Principal of the school interacted with all the parents and students. Mark sheets were distributed to the children. The first, second and third rank students of each class were rewarded with special prizes. All the parents who came to the school boosted the morale of the children and enthusiastically participated in this program. The program was concluded with the distribution of sweets to students and parents.

A farewell party of class 8th had been conducted by class 7th on 23rd March 2023. During this, all the students of class 8th gave their feedback and shared experience. The students of class 7th wished them for their bright future and gifted them badminton racket.
Science Day was celebrated in the school on 28/2/2023. In the prayer meeting, children and teachers discussed the reasons for celebrating Science Day. Children told about the great scientist Dr. CV Raman. After the mid-day break, the children of classes 6, 7, and 8 understood the complexity of science easily through some activities. Students learned the principles of refraction and reflection of light through experiments and also learned the use of an ammeter and voltmeter. The children did all the activities with keen interest.
Games Day was organized in Vidyalaya on 25th February 2023. Students of all classes participated in various events. For classes P.G. to 2, the long run, the frog race, and the musical chair race were organized. From class 4 to 8, students went to a field in the village where long race, one-leg race, frog race, and spoon race were organized. The children thoroughly enjoyed the game. In the end, nutritious food was distributed to the children.
On 22/2/23 all the students of classes 6, 7, and 8 went to Shiksha Sopan Nankari to see the science fair. The children saw different types of exciting models there and understood the procedure. They looked at all the models and activities with great interest. The children enjoyed and participated in the quiz and puzzle at the science fair.
The inaugural ceremony of the school's Annual Function on 10.02.2023 was commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Dr. Sandeep Patil (Founder/Director- E-SPIN NANOTECH Pvt. Ltd., IIT Kanpur) and Dr. Mahendra K. Verma, Dr. Madhav Ranganathan, Dr. Aditya Medury (Professor- IIT Kanpur) and Jayveer Singh and the programme was followed by Saraswati- Vandana. The events of the three-hour-long programme included dance, play, and recitation. The chief guest distributed prizes among the participants who performed well in the G.K. Competition organized by the school on 03.02.2023.
The chief guest also delivered a
valuable speech. In his speech, he gave much importance to the need for
arranging such a programme. He encouraged the students and teachers for their
laudable performances.
After function, we distributed
gifts received from Next gen & Amazon through the "Gift a Smile"
programme. The children were very happy after getting gifts. They thanked
Next-gen & Amazon for lovely gifts with gleaming faces.
On February 4 and 5, students of
classes 7 and 8 were taken to Agra and Mathura for the educational tour by bus.
First, we went to Agra. Here the children saw the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort.
After this, the children were taken to the Gurudwara in Agra for the night's rest.
There the children took dinner and rested. On the morning of February 5, we
went to Gokul. There the children first saw the Nand Bhavan, Ramanreti Temple,
and Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and wandered all over. There the children saw
beautiful automatic tableaus in which glimpses of Shri Krishna's life were
shown. We also saw the cave. After this, we visited ISKCON Temple, Gopinath
Temple, Vaishno Mata Temple, and Prem Mandir in Vrindavan. The
children thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The educational tour concluded with
beautiful tableaus of Prem Mandir and we returned to the school on the morning
of February 6.
A General knowledge competition was organized by the school on 3rd February, in which around 300 children from 7 schools participated. Aditya Kumar, a student of Swami Vivekanand Vidyalaya, Lodhar, bagged the first position, while Taufiq of Sardar Patel High School, Mandhana bagged the second position, and a student of Pre-Secondary School, Maharajpur bagged the third position. Apart from this, in all the participating schools, school wise children got first, second, and third place.
Students celebrated Republic day on 26th January. The school Principal hoisted the flag. Students performed dance, sang patriotic songs and teachers told them about the sacrifice of patriots. Some ex-students and parents also sang some songs and encouraged the students. At last sweets were distributed among students.
On 12th January 2023 Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated at School. Teachers narrated many stories related to Swami Ji on this occasion. Sweet were distributed to all the children.
From
19th November to 24th December 2022, a 6 week workshop on electronics was
organized in the school by Mr. Sudhindra Rao from IIT Kanpur. 40 Students participated in it. Students
learned Tinkring, preparing greeting cards, light on bread board, and robot
with sensor. All the students were very excited on doing all the work
practically.
