A farewell party to class 8th was conducted by class 7th on 23rd March 2024. During this, all the students of class 8th gave their feedback and shared experiences. The students of class 7th wished them for their bright future and gifted them geometry box.
Report Card were distributed to
the student on March 23rd. Prizes were distributed to the student from class PG
to 5th for maintaining cleanliness and coming in full uniform throughout
the year. After that the program concluded by distributing sweets to the
students.
The Annual Function was organized in the school on 24th February. Dr. Niraj Mohan Chawake (Coordinator NSS, IIT Kanpur) lit the lamp after garlanding on the picture of Swami Vivekananda. After that the children enthralled the audience by presenting dance, drama etc. At last prizes and sweets were distributed to the children. The program concluded with the address of the school principal.
On 14th February, on the occasion of Basant Panchami, all the students and teachers worshipped Godess Saraswati .The Principal of the school told the students about the auspicious day. Vijay Ji from Asha for Education, USA came to visit the school. He met the students in their classes and discussed with them. He enquired about the models in Science Lab and the students explained their works. He saw and praised the activities of Kathak, Taekwondo, music and computer. He enjoyed the melodious dance and others acts presented by the students of Kathak and Taekwondo. He distributed the certificates of Prathama (Kathak) and Basic Computer (first batch) to the students.
Like every year, this year also, GK competition was organized on 10th February by the school. Around 500 students from 10 different schools participated in the competition. Raghav class 7th of our school got the first position. Sakshi Sonkar of Sardar Patel HSS Mandhana secured 2nd position. Poonam of Class 8th of our school and Adiya Prajapati of Sardar Patel HSS Mandhana jointly got 3rd position. Students were awarded on the occasion of the annual function.
Three Day (01.02.24 to 03.02.24) Teachers Training Workshop was conducted at Shiksha Sopan Ashram, Nankari IIT Kanpur in the presence of Padmashri awardee Prof. HC Verma Ji. Our teachers participated and Learned new concepts of Chemistry, Biology and Physics. The resource persons of Shiksha Sopan Ashram, Mr. Amit Kumar Bajpai Ji, and Ranjit Kumar Ji explained the concepts of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in very simple language to all the teachers through activities.
Students celebrated Republic day on 26th January. The school Principal hoisted the flag. Students performed dance and sang patriotic songs. Teachers told the students about the sacrifice of patriots. Some ex-students and parents also sang some songs and encouraged the students. At last sweets were distributed among students.
“Gitanushilanam 2023” The Annual
flagship event for Gita Jayanti programme was organized by Prof. and Students
of IIT Kanpur in Main Auditorium IIT Kanpur on 24th December 2023. In this
programme our students participated in Drawing & Quiz Competition. Shalu
& Anushka of Class- 6th got the second and third prize in the
Drawing competition. Our School students also performed the Classical Dance and
everyone was mesmerized by the performance.
Educational Tour- Bithur Kanpur,
105 children of class 1 to 6 left from school for picnic at 9:00AM on
22/12/2023 in two buses. First of all the children reached Iskcon Temple and
observed the fascinating view of Radha Krishna Temple and the amazing
architecture and art of the temple. The children entered the cave located at
Sudhanshu Ashram and got the experience of Mountain cave. After leaving
Sudhanshu Ashram the children reached the Nanarao Park. In the Nanarao park
Museum, the memories related to the freedom struggle not only gained knowledge
but also got to know the difficulties faced in the freedom struggle. Children
went to the Statue of Nana Sahib, where they got all the information about him.
After that they had their lunch. Children enjoyed various type of swings
located in the park itself. At last children returned to the school after
having the darshan of Sai Baba in Sai darbar temple.
Science and Social Science Mela was organized in the school on 8th & 9th December 2023. In which children made many types of working models. The science exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. CL Maurya ji (Dean of CSA, Kanpur) by lighting the lamp. After this the children welcomed the chief guest by signing a welcome song. The principal of the school also welcomed the chief guest.
In science room children made
models of magnetic separation, artificial lungs, human teeth, Periscope, water
purifier & petrol engine etc. and explained to the visitors. Many working
models like water purifier, petrol engine, human digestive system were the
centre of attraction in the science room. Similarly in the Social Science room
quizzes related to water cycle, evolution and origin of human life, layers of
the atmosphere, national symbols of India, major revolutionaries of India,
state and their capital, domestic rain water machine, Solar System etc were
made. The students in the computer room informed the visitors about the
basic of Python, solar planet, parts of CPU., education and important app, and
Google survey in the exhibition. In English and Mathematics children made
very interesting puzzles. Along with this some children also made Rangoli in
which beautiful use of colour was shown through pictures of Maa Saraswati,
Tiger, Peacock, etc. which remained the centre of attraction for all the visitors.
Approximately 350 people visited the Science and Social Mela 2023.
On 12/11/2023 the day of Diwali teachers came to school and worshiped Ganesha Lakshmi with students and lit candles and the students were given Prasad and sweets.
Parents Teacher meeting was organized on 25th November in which School principal Mrs. Annpurna Dixit welcomed all the parents who came to the meeting and talk about major activity taking place in the school and advise them to be aware of the children. At the end of meeting parents saw the report cards of their children and talk to the subject teacher related to their children.
On 26th October a one day Python
workshop was organized in the school by Prof. Mahendra Kumar Verma (Physics Department
IIT Kanpur) and his fellow student and Manmohan Dewbanshi. A total of 96 students
participated in this workshop. The workshop started with the basic knowledge of
python in which student understood and learned the basic of python in the
computer room. Everyone had lunch in the lunch time of the workshop, after
lunch break the understanding of python was improved through fun exercises with
the student. Prof. MK Verma distributed some copies of “Python programming for
school students” written by him among the students. In this way a successful
workshop come to an end.
On October 14th school girls participated in open State Taekwondo Championship in Panki in which Students from 20 to 25 schools from other districts participated. The girls from our school performed brilliantly and received medals which are following-

Like the previous years, this year also the children of our school showed their talent in Kanpur Zoo. The occasion was "Wildlife Week 2023". Kanpur Zoo organized various competitions in the first week of October 2023. Around 1800 students of 32 schools participated in the event. Our kids also participated and as always they proved themselves.
