MATHS & SCIENCE WORKSHOP

 Swami Vivekananda Vidyalaya organized a three day MATHS & SCIENCE WORKSHOP from 21^st May to 23^rd May 2026 (Timing- 10:00 AM to 04:00PM). This workshop was conducted by experts of Eklavya team (Mr. Akash Malviya & Mr. Rajendra Deshmukh). Resource persons trained the teachers, how to make teaching Mathematics & Science fun and interesting for kids. Also they told that first of all we must create attractive environment before starting to teach in class. Use of teaching aids, playful ways and encouraging environment helps students to learn. 35 teachers from SVV Lodhar & Apna Skool participated in this workshop and learnt basic skills of Mathematics & Science. Teachers were also given opportunity to play interesting Mathematical & Science games. Certainly this workshop will be very helpful to boost understanding of mathematics & Science among children.

 On 11^th April 2026, all the students and teachers celebrated ‘Khichri Bhoj’ at School. Students were very happy on eating the tasty Khichri.

 Mr. Gaurav Tiwari and Mr. Durvijay Singh visited the school on 04^th April 2026. They work in E-Spin Nanotech Pvt. Ltd. Naramau Near IIT Kanpur. They have donated 80 litre capacity water cooler and 25 litre/hour RO and distributed biscuits to the children. They also invited us to visit their workplace.

 Parent-Teacher Meeting was organized on 30^th March 2026. The attendance of parents in this meeting was satisfactory. The principal welcomed all the parents. Academic performance of the students was discussed. Prizes were given to the students of the first, second and third positions for each class. The students with highest attendance in the school were also given prizes. The children who came in the full uniform with neat and clean throughout the year were also honored by the school. Three students of the school were given the note books for their next class for the full attendance during the academic year 2025-26.

All the students who attended the school throughout the year with proper uniform and maintain good hygiene were also honoured by the school. After that the progress report cards were distributed to the student of each class. The parents who came to the school boosted the enthusiasm of the children. Nutrition was distributed to all the children. 

Farewell party of class 8th

 On 23^rd March 2026 the farewell party of class 8^th was organized by the students of class 7^th. The students of class 8^th shared their experience with everyone. The students of class 7^th gave them sweets and gifted geometry box. The principle and teachers of the school gave blessings and best wishes for their bright future.

Annual Function

 Annual function was organized in the school on 28.02.2026. Miss Sweta Kumar (Office of resources and alumni IIT Kanpur) was present as the Chief Guest in the function. The Chief Guest started the program by lighting the lamp. Prof. Mahendra Kumar Verma and Prof. Aditya Medury were also present in the function. First of all the children welcomed the chief guest by singing a welcome song. The children presented many beautiful programs under which drama, group dance, group song and stories of great man were performed. Along with this, the students who got first, second, and third place in the GK competition were awarded by the chief guest. The Annual Gifts and sweets were given to every student of the school.

Educational Tour for class 7th & 8th

 On 16^th and 17^th February, student of class 7^th and 8^th were taken to Agra and Mathura by bus for an educational tour. The children first reached Agra where they saw the Agra Fort, Diwan-E-Aam, Diwan-E-Khas and Akbar’s throne. They also got information about the Akbar and Aurangzeb. After that children visited the Taj Mahal, seeing it they were overjoyed. They were provided information regarding the monument. Subsequently for their overnight stay, the children were taken to the Gurudwara in Agra, where they had their parashada and rested. We left Agra on the morning of 17^th February and first went to Gokul. The children visited the Raman Reti Temple, built houses out of sand and offered their prayers. After this, the children went to see the 84 pillars where Lord Krishna spend his childhood with Yashoda Mata and Nand Baba. The children were overwhelmed after seeing the scene there. A lot of information related to 84 pillars was given to the children. From there, all the children reached Shri Krishna Janma Bhoomi Mathura, where Shri Krishna was born. At the Shri Krishna Janma Bhoomi, children saw automated tableaux that depicted glimpse of entire life of Lord Krishna. The children thoroughly enjoy this entire excursion. The children gain a lot of information by knowing the mythology of each place. Finally, after having dinner, the children reached school in the morning from where they left for their homes.

Educational Tour

 On 13^th February 2026 an educational tour was organised for children from class 2^nd to class 6^th. This time the children went to Blue World Theme Park, the most famous Park of the Kanpur. The entire credit for this educational tour goes to the principal of the school, Mrs. Annpurna Dixit, after whose tireless efforts, Kanpur District Magistrate, Mr Jitendra Pratap Singh organised a tour of blue World Theme Park for 120 children and teachers of the School. In the Blue World, first of all, the children saw Suhana Safar. To see Suhana Safar all the children sat in a boat and went inside the cave in which all the religious and cultures has been shown. The children liked it. After this, the children swung many types of swings. The children had a lot of fun in the swings. After this, the children visited Bharat Darshan, in which the major places of all states of India and information about them were given. The children enjoyed a lot of seeing the maze, 3D, 7D and rope way etc. At the last lunch was arranged for the all children where they were given a special treat. The children had a lot of fun inside the restaurant singing and winning competitions. The whole day was a fun day for all the students and the enjoyed it. Finally all the children returned to the school. All the children expressed their gratitude to the principal and DM Sir.

GK Competition

 On 12^th February 2026 the school organized a GK competition. About 500 students from the nearby schools participated in this competition. In the GK Competition Anushka our school got the first place. The second position was secured by Shakshi, a student of class 7^th of Mahadevi Shiksha Sadan, Mandhana and third position was secured by Devraj, student of class 8^th of Sardar Patel Inter College Mandhana Kanpur.

On the occasion of Republic Day on 26th January 2026, all the students attended the school. All the children went in a queue with the teachers for Prabhat Pheri. All the children went around the whole village shouting slogans. The principal of the school hoisted the flag. All the teachers and students saluted the flag and sang the national anthem. Some cultural programs were organized by the children. At the last nutrition was distributed to all the children.

Games Day

 Sports day was organized in the school on 25.01.2026 in which students from all classes of the school participated. Running and Musical chair race were held for the classes PG to 2^nd. Students from class 3^rd to 8^th went to nearby ground where sports were organized. The children thoroughly enjoyed the games. Nutrition was distributed to the children.

 Vasant Panchmi was also celebrated in the school on the 23.01.2026. All teachers and students worshipped Maa Sharda and lit the lamp. Some students presented melodious ‘Saraswati Vandana’ and in the end sweet were distributed to all.

 On 21^st January 2026 Vijay ji from Asha for Education, USA visited the school. First of all he met the principal of the school Mrs. Annpurna Dixit and got detailed information from her about all the activities of the school. With the principal he visited each and every classroom to observe the teaching method. He met the children and asked them questions. The children answered his questions satisfactorily. He was very pleased to observe the school’s teaching proficiency. A joint meeting was held with all the teachers of the school in which he discussed how the school could be improve in future. He appreciated the Computer room, Library and Science Lab.
